Boring Lights turns your car's own lights into a light show: strobe, wig-wag, double flash, chase and shows you make yourself, from your iPhone through an OBD adapter. No coding and no wiring: plug the adapter into the diagnostic port, open the app and tap a show. Press Stop and every light goes straight back to normal.

Please read: Light shows are for when the car is parked, where it is allowed. Never use them on a public road.
How it works
Plug a Bluetooth OBD adapter into your car's diagnostic port. The app finds it by itself, reads which car you have and which lights it has, and shows your car in 3D. Tap a show and your real lights run it. Press Stop and the car takes its lights back.
Which adapter
Any Bluetooth OBD adapter works. We recommend a Bluetooth one over Wi-Fi because it keeps wireless CarPlay and your phone's internet working.
Will it work on my car?
BMW F-series cars work best, and many more makes are in the app or being added. Search your car on our car list to see where it stands. If your car is not ready yet, connect it anyway: the app sends us its details by itself (no personal data) so we can add it.
